Well it’s been about 2 months since the official Visual Studio 2010 launch. I’m sitting here tonight reviewing the final reports of the various launch events, reading comments from the developer community and thinking about what we can do next time to make the experience even better.
We originally set out to touch 1 million developers within 30 days of the launch through the various events we sponsored. I remember when the team originally suggested 1 million developers in 30 days I thought to myself “maybe that’s a tad aggressive” but then remembered our mantra – go big or go home. Well I’m happy to report that we did touch over 1 million developers in 30 days and we continue to see strong demand for individuals test driving the release.
